IS YOUR CENTER LICENSED?

Yes, Laugh & Learn is a fully licensed Childcare facility through Interior Health.

IS THERE A REGISTRATION FEE?

At time of registration a $100 non-refundable admin fee will be charged. This fee secures your spot at Laugh & Learn.

IS THERE A WAITLIST?

Yes each program only has a waitlist of 10 spaces for each school year/term. Where if families withdraw during the term, to be on it your child must be of age to attend.

WHEN ARE MONTLY FEES DUE?

Upon registration, Laugh & Learn requires a completion of a signed Fee’s agreement form and a Secure Placement Fee which is applied to the last month of enrollment. Parents and guardians will be invoiced via email/QuickBooks on the 25^th of the month prior of childcare, and by the 1^st of the month they are due. After the 1^st of the month late fee policy will be in effect.

WHAT DO I DO IF I NO LONGER NEED CARE?

If you no longer require care our services, a 30-day written notice is required (from the 1^st to the 1^st) For Example: if you would like to discontinue services October 1^st, notice must be given prior on or before September 1^st) If you choose to remove your child from Laugh & Learn before the 30 days is up, the secure placement fee will be used and not refunded.

IF I AM GOING AWAY FOR A MONTH OR DECIDE TO TAKE A HOLIDAY AND DON’T NEED CARE, DO I STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TIME I AM AWAY?

Yes, in order to secure your child’s space, you need to pay even when you wish to take a holiday. We are unable to enroll another child while you are away as this spot is secured for your child for the school year program length.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS EACH PROGRAM IS OPEN?

PreK: 9:00am-3:00pm Monday to Thursday

Before School-Aged Care: 7:00am-8:30am

After School-Aged Care: 3:00pm-7:00pm

No School Friday Care: 8:30am-5:30pm

School Aged Winter/Spring Break Camp: 8:30am-5:30pm

WHAT ARE THE AGE GROUPS FOR EACH PROGRAM?

PreK: 3-5 year old’s

School Aged Program: 5 years old (must be in kindergarten)- 10 Years old

HOW MANY CHILDREN ARE ALLOWED IN THE PROGRAM?

The Prek program is licensed for 16 children, and the School-Aged Program is Licensed for 20.

WHAT IS YOUR STAFF TO CHILD RATIO?

PreK program is 1 teacher to every 8 children. The School Aged program is 1 teacher to every 10 children.
